Alexus combines advanced technology, a high level of protection and ergonomic design, making it our most innovative and fully equipped firefighting suit. Named after the Latin word Alexus, meaning “protector” or “defender,” this model delivers an exceptional level of protection, freedom of movement and comfort, helping firefighters perform under the most demanding conditions.

Key Features

• SuperStretch Bellows System: The elastic bellows construction in the knee and elbow areas offers up to 20% stretch, providing greater freedom of movement and flexibility.
• Segmented Reflective Strips: Their flexible construction enhances wearer comfort and facilitates movement.
• Photoluminescent Strips: Improve silhouette visibility in the dark and can be seen from a distance of up to 200 metres. They charge in 5 minutes in daylight and 10 minutes under fluorescent lighting, remaining visible for up to 8 hours.
• Ergonomic Pocket Solutions: Provide practical storage options, including a pleated pocket and a concealed side pocket.
• Advanced Layering System: Combines a high level of thermal protection with breathability and durability.
• DRD (Drag Rescue Device): Positioned on the back at the rear yoke, this integrated rescue system helps firefighters evacuate a casualty rapidly from an incident scene in an emergency.
• Compatibility with Chest, Seat and Full-Body Harnesses: Features a tunnel system suitable for a chest harness, together with openings compatible with seat harnesses and full-body harnesses.
• Optional Harness Systems: Chest, seat and full-body harnesses can be added on request.
• Protection in accordance with the EN 469 standard.

Layering System

The ALEXUS firefighting suit has been designed to meet the most demanding conditions firefighters may encounter. The two-layer version shown below is the most frequently chosen configuration.

Firestop – one of the most advanced multilayer systems on the market: offers 50% greater heat protection and a 50% more breathable layer structure compared with the EN 469 standard.

The layers used in the Firestop system are designed to deliver maximum protection, outstanding durability and superior wearer comfort.
